Having been suffering with knee pain and associated chronic inflammation for several months, coupled with sciatic pain, I visited Cheryl for some advice and relief treatment. She is very knowledgeable and works intuitively and was able to establish where the pain was originating from. Cheryl worked on the area which resulted in a dramatic decrease in the swelling and advised on appropriate aftercare. Since that initial appointment 8 months ago, I have visited Cheryl on several occasions for relief of my chronic inflammation. She always goes the extra mile and really cares about your wellbeing. First class deep tissue massage! Alan absolutely knows his stuff, was warm, friendly and thoroughly professional. I felt at ease from the moment I walked in and he really listened to my concerns and then set to work on all of my problem areas. It’s never ‘fun’ having a proper deep tissue massage, but Alan’s engaging chat helped take my mind off the process.. I've visited Cheryl on a few occasions now for shoulder and neck/back issues. She is very genuinely attentive, knowledgeable, experienced, dedicated and skilled in dealing with your issues. Her techniques are second to none and have no reservation in recommending her and her team at Zen to deal with any ailments within their field of expertise.
Having had many massages over the years I can honestly say that Cheryl is up there with the best. She does a thorough physical assessment initially before working out any imbalances you might have around your body. She then gets to work. If you're after a light massage this is not the place for you although Cheryl can expertly judge how much pressure is needed to get the blood flowing in the muscles and kneading out any tricky knots and she will pull back if the pressure becomes too much for you! Cheryl is very professional and all precautions are taken in relation to the current virus etc. In all, I would highly recommend Cheryl as a fully qualified sports massage therapist and would guarantee that you won't go away disappointed.
Cheryl is a lovely lady. My husband is having physio with her for posture problems which causes a lot of pain. She is very knowledgeable and thorough in finding out what’s wrong. She gave us a full report on all his issues and practical ways to help. Cheryl is a very professional but approachable and puts you ease.
